DRY-NEEDLING
Unlike acupuncture, which is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, dry needling is based on modern anatomy and neurophysiology. It is especially effective for musculoskeletal pain, stiffness, and movement dysfunction.

Dry-Needling
Seth started working as a bodyworker in 2000 doing craniosacral therapy and myofascial releasework. He has also worked in the operating room. These experiences have allowed him to develop a three dimensional knowledge of anatomy that enhances his dry needling treatment. Instead of putting needles just under the skin, as most acupuncturists do, Seth treats an injured muscle’s origin, its insertion, its belly, and the spine where the nerve for the muscle originates. This deeper technique utilizes Western medical anatomy rather than the energetic anatomy of acupuncture. Seth often enhances the treatment with electrical stimulation released deep from within the body at the needle tip.
